Instructions for Safe Operation of the Dunk Tank
Dunk Tank Safety Rules
Before you start
- Review all rules/instructions on the tank.
- If you have questions before use, contact New Castle Party Rentals.
- Fill the tank to the top, or at least to 8 inches from the top.
- Adult supervision is required at all times.
One person at a time
- Only one person may be on the seat or in the tank at a time.
Getting on the seat (critical)
- Sit on the seat — never stand on the seat.
- Before getting onto the seat, confirm the seat is securely locked in place.
- Use any additional safety latches if present.
- Enter the tank by climbing up at the back of the tank.
- Use the handles to get onto the seat, but do not hold the handles while waiting to be dunked.
Target & throwing rules
- Do not hit the target with your hand. Use only the balls provided.
Safe seated position
- Once seated, move as far forward as comfortable to avoid the seat slapping into your back.
- Lean forward slightly with hands on knees.
- Never put hands under the seat.
After dunking
- After being dunked, swim toward the front of the tank.
- Stand up slowly to avoid hitting your head or shoulder on the seat.
Resetting & exiting
- Reset the seat by carefully moving the target arm back into place and locking the seat.
- Use the step to climb back onto the seat or out of the tank only after confirming the seat is locked.
- Add water as needed during use.
Water safety
- To prevent accidental drowning, never leave a water-filled tank unattended.
End of use
- Drain water by turning the valve at the bottom of the tank ¼ turn counter-clockwise.
- Do not attempt to move the dunk tank once it has been set up.
