Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to your most frequently asked questions

Quick answers
  • Do you deliver? Yes — we deliver, setup, and pickup. Customer pickup can also be arranged depending on the item.
  • How far in advance should I book? Usually, a week or two prior to your party or event is sufficient but not guaranteed, so it’s best to get your order in as early as you can — weekends and holidays book up fast.
  • When do you deliver? You can look for us to arrive about 1 hour before your start time to unload, set up, and safety-check everything. Sometimes we have to arrive earlier depending on our schedule for the day and what we’re setting up. We try to stay within a 4 hour window. Water slides and larger inflatables or events require earlier delivery.
  • When do you pick up? Unless we need to pick up on-time (i.e. timed venues), we’ll pick up after your specified rental time. When reserving for the day, we can often pick up the following day.
  • What are your rental hours? Most rentals are scheduled within 9:00am–7:00pm depending on time of year, due to neighborhood noise and safety considerations. Exceptions can be made in some situations.
  • How long is the standard rental? Most inflatables are priced as a 4-hour base rental, with options to upgrade to a full-day. Some items are a full day by default including water slides, most games and concessions.
  • Can I extend my rental time? Often, yes — as long as the item isn’t needed for another booking. Contact us as early as possible and we’ll tell you what’s available.
  • Can I change my rental time after ordering? Usually, yes — if the item and schedule allow. Message us as soon as possible with your order details and preferred new times.
  • What is a Full Day? A full day is 8 hours. But if you need more time, we can be flexible; including overnight.
  • What happens if weather is bad? Safety comes first. If weather is questionable (wind, rain, lightning), we may recommend rescheduling. We’ll work with you on the best option.
  • How windy is too windy for inflatables? Inflatables should not be used in unsafe winds. Most inflatables are rated for 15 mph. If conditions are unsafe, we may delay setup, recommend rescheduling, or cancel for safety.
  • What do you need from me for setup? A clear/clean area that matches the space requirements, plus:
    • Clear access path for moving equipment
    • Nearby power source within 100′ of setup area (we’ll have the extension cord)
    • Pets secured during setup (recommended)
  • Do I need a generator? Not usually. But if your inflatable needs more than one outlet, you may need to adjust your setup location prior to our arrival in order to reach each different circuit. If there isn’t a suitable outlet within 100′ from the setup area, you may need a generator. We offer generator rentals for many inflatable setups.
  • How much space do I need? Each item has different requirements. Check the item description or contact us and we’ll help you choose the right size for your yard or venue.
  • Are inflatables safe? Yes — when used properly. We provide safety guidelines, and we strongly recommend:
    • Adult supervision at all times
    • No shoes, food, or sharp objects inside
    • Follow posted capacity/age limits
  • How many kids can use an inflatable at once? It depends on the specific inflatable. Most bounce houses and bounce & slide combos will accommodate up to 8 children (typical 6 yr old size). Capacity guidelines are listed per item. When in doubt, contact us and we’ll confirm.
  • Can adults use the inflatables too? Some units are designed for kids only; others can handle teens/adults. Check the item details or ask us before booking.
  • Are your rentals cleaned and sanitized? Yes — items are cleaned and inspected between rentals.
  • What if something gets damaged during my rental? Accidents happen. Let us know right away. You may be responsible for damage beyond normal wear, especially if safety rules weren’t followed.
  • Can I cancel or reschedule? Yes — reach out as soon as you know. The earlier you contact us, the more options we can offer.
  • Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup? Preferably yes, or have a responsible adult available. If you’re not available, contact us ahead of time to arrange access and placement details.
  • There’s no tax in Delaware. Why is there tax on the invoice? There is no sales tax on most items in Delaware unlike the majority of other states. But Delaware does impose a 1.9914% lease/use tax on the rental of tangible personal property (equipment) used within the state, which is paid by the lessee and collected by the lessor.
  • Do you serve my area? We serve all of New Castle County, Delaware and some neighboring areas. We do not serve New Jersey for most items. If you’re still not sure if we serve your area, please contact us.
