Inflatables Instructions & Rules

Rules & Guidelines for operating inflatables safely

General Inflatable Rules

Before entering

  • Shoes off before entering the unit.
  • No food, drinks, or gum in or on the unit.
  • Remove or avoid items that can hurt riders or damage the inflatable, including:
    • Sharp objects (keys, tools, hair clips, etc.)
    • Toys (especially hard toys)
    • Glasses (remove if possible)
    • Ink pens/markers
    • Silly string
    • Jewelry (especially sharp pieces or long necklaces)
    • Sand / gritty debris
  • No animals in, on, or near the unit.
  • Only use the inflatable when it is fully inflated.

Safe play

  • No flips, wrestling, tackling, wall-slams, or roughhousing.
  • Do not climb on the outside of the unit or around the blower(s).
  • Do not sit or bounce on the safety step/ramp (if equipped).
  • One group at a time: riders must exit before new riders enter.
  • Do not exceed the posted/recommended capacity.
  • Separate riders by size and/or age to prevent injuries.
  • Do not hang, pull, or sit on walls, columns, mesh, or window ledges.

Air & weather

  • The blower(s) must remain ON at all times during use.
  • If the unit starts losing air, everyone must exit immediately.
  • Inflatables must stay dry. Do not allow the unit to get wet.
  • Rain or high winds: remove riders immediately and unplug blower(s) at the wall outlet (wet ground can be a slip/shock hazard).

Slide rules (for inflatables with slides)

  • Slide feet-first only.
  • Go one at a time and keep moving toward the exit.
  • Never jump from the top of the slide.
  • Do not stop or stay at the bottom—clear the landing area immediately.
